Souda Bay, Crete, Greece (Jun. 21, 2007) — The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75), an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, approaches Souda harbor for a scheduled port visit. The Norfolk, VA based destroyer departed CONUS with her crew of 280 in mid-May for a regularly scheduled six month deployment. Donald Cook is currently operating in support of the U.S. SIXTH Fleet’s Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) strategy designed to enhance interoperability with countries throughout the region.
